SAP FI Consultant (ECC / S/4HANA)

About the role

EY is looking for an experienced SAP FI Consultant in Nicosia with a strong background in both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance. The consultant implements, supports and enhances financial processes in SAP, integrating them with other business functions, combining accounting knowledge with deep SAP configuration expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support end-to-end implementation and rollout projects in SAP FI on ECC and S/4HANA
• Configure and maintain FI modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting and Indirect/Withholding Tax
• Work on ECC to S/4HANA migration and conversion (data mapping, CVI, financial data migration)
• Collaborate with CO, MM, SD and HR teams for cross-module integration
• Prepare functional specifications for developments, enhancements, reports and interfaces (RICEFW)
• Perform system testing, user training and post-go-live support
• Recommend business process improvements and support finance transformation initiatives
• Troubleshoot production issues with technical teams

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP FI experience (implementation, support and upgrades)
• Proven experience in data migration, system configuration and end-user training
• Ability to write functional documentation and manage change requests
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field preferred

Required skills

• SAP ECC FI and S/4HANA Finance (New GL, Universal Journal, Fiori Apps)
• FI integration with CO, MM, SD, PP and HR
• Exposure to SAP Activate methodology
• Preferred: SAP FI or S/4HANA Finance certification, Central Finance (CFIN), SAP Fiori, SAC and Group Reporting; finance, accounting or auditing background (ACCA, CPA)
