Food Service Assistant

About the role

Mayflower, a technology company building large-scale entertainment products, is hiring a Food Service Assistant in Limassol. You will help ensure smooth food service operations and keep the dining area clean, organised and welcoming, while supporting guests and maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and set up food service areas
• Serve and replenish food, beverages and service items, keeping food fresh and well presented
• Assist guests politely, support kitchen and service teams during busy periods, and report shortages and concerns to the supervisor
• Maintain clean dining and service areas and follow food-safety, HACCP, allergen and hygiene procedures
• Handle and store food safely, preventing cross-contamination
• Clean counters, utensils, equipment and work surfaces, clear used dishes and complete closing duties

Required profile

• Previous experience in food service, catering, hospitality or retail food operations is preferred
• Ability to work in shifts such as 5:00 am–2:00 pm, 6:30 am–2:30 pm or 7:30 am–3:30 pm
• Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and allergen awareness
• Good verbal communication in English and Greek
• Reliability, flexibility and attention to cleanliness and presentation
