Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton Residences Limassol is looking for a Housekeeping Attendant. The role responds quickly to requests from guests and other departments and keeps guest rooms tidy and ready for arrival.

Key responsibilities

• Fill the supply cart and move it to the assigned area
• Enter guest rooms following access procedures and check they are vacant
• Replace guest amenities and supplies, and replace dirty linens with clean ones
• Make beds and fold linens, and clean bathrooms
• Remove trash, dirty linen and room service items
• Check that all appliances are present and working, straighten desk items and furniture, and dust, polish and clean walls and furnishings
• Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways
• Follow company and safety/security policies, report maintenance problems, hazards, accidents or injuries, complete safety training, and store flammable materials safely
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance, keep proprietary information confidential, welcome guests, anticipate their needs, assist people with disabilities and speak clearly and professionally
• Support the team, meet quality standards and perform other reasonable duties asked by supervisors

Required profile

• No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
• No related work experience or supervisory experience required
• No license or certification required

Required skills

• Able to move, lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds alone and heavier with assistance
• Able to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart over sloping and uneven surfaces
• Able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping
• Able to stand, sit, kneel or walk for an extended period during a full shift
• Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
