Cook B (Greek Speaker)

About the role

Mayflower, a technology company behind large-scale entertainment platforms, is hiring a Cook B in its Limassol kitchen. The cook supports daily kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, cooking assigned menu items and helping with mise en place and service preparation, working closely with senior kitchen staff while following food-safety and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, peel, trim and cut vegetables, meat and other ingredients, then cook assigned menu items according to recipes.
• Support the Chef de Partie and Cook A with mise en place and service preparation.
• Keep ingredients, utensils and workstations ready, check freshness and report shortages or quality issues, and help with receiving, storage and stock rotation.
• Keep work areas, utensils and equipment clean and follow food-safety, allergen, hygiene and workplace-safety procedures.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen; culinary graduates with good practical training may also be considered.
• Ability to work in shifts such as 5:00 am-2:00 pm, 6:30 am-2:30 pm or 7:30 am-3:30 pm.
• Fluency in Greek is mandatory; English or Russian is a plus.
• Previous culinary studies and similar kitchen experience are an advantage.

Required skills

• Basic cooking skills: safe knife handling, cutting, weighing, portioning and basic cooking methods.
• Mise en place, recipe following and accurate presentation.
• Basic knowledge of hygiene, cleaning, food storage and cross-contamination prevention.
