Food Service Assistant (Greek Speaker)

About the role

Mayflower, a technology company building large-scale entertainment products, is hiring a Food Service Assistant in Limassol, Cyprus. You will help ensure smooth food service operations and keep the dining area clean, organised and welcoming. The role covers food preparation and service, guest support and hygiene and food safety.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and set up food service areas
• Serve and replenish food, beverages and service items, keeping food fresh and well presented
• Assist guests politely, support kitchen and service teams during busy periods and report shortages and concerns to the supervisor
• Maintain clean dining and service areas and follow food-safety, HACCP, allergen and hygiene procedures
• Handle and store food safely, preventing cross-contamination
• Clean counters, utensils, equipment and work surfaces, clear used dishes and complete closing duties

Required profile

• Fluency in Greek is mandatory; English or Russian is a plus
• Shift work (5:00 am–2:00 pm, 6:30 am–2:30 pm or 7:30 am–3:30 pm)
• Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and allergen awareness
• Good verbal communication in English and Greek, strong teamwork and reliability
• Previous experience in food service, catering, hospitality or retail food operations is preferred
