Coordinator, Groups & Events

About the role

The Coordinator, Groups & Events drives revenue by selling and coordinating hotel accommodation, MICE facilities and food & beverage services to corporate clients, agencies and travel partners. The role balances proactive prospecting with meticulous account management to maximise group bookings and event revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and solicit group and MICE business through calls, emails, networking and client entertainment.
• Manage existing accounts, negotiate contracts, and ensure post‑event follow‑up.
• Prepare tailored proposals, respond to enquiries within 24 hours and negotiate pricing.
• Coordinate event logistics by creating Banqueting Event Orders, rooming lists and liaising with front office, F&B, reservations, security and other operational teams.
• Maintain accurate client and prospect records in the Delphi CRM system and produce weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Organise site inspections and familiarisation visits for prospective clients.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of sales or events management experience in the hospitality industry.
• Proven network with corporate accounts, MICE agencies, tour operators or travel agents.
• Degree in hospitality, marketing, business administration or a related field.
• Strong English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience using a CRM system (Delphi).
