Food Safety & Inventory Coordinator

About the role

Mayflower, a technology company behind large-scale entertainment platforms, is looking for a Food Safety & Inventory Coordinator in Limassol. The role covers food hygiene, HACCP documentation, receiving and storing ingredients, and keeping the kitchen supply chain running safely.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure food-safety and hygiene rules are followed in food production, and monitor temperatures in refrigerators, freezers, cooking, cooling and transport.
• Check cleanliness of staff, equipment, production areas and delivery vehicles, and ensure allergen control and prevention of cross-contamination.
• Check expiry dates, labels, traceability and correct storage, and prepare and file HACCP records.
• Monitor staff compliance with hygiene procedures and report violations to management or the Executive Chef.
• Receive ingredients, check quantities, quality, temperatures, expiry dates and package condition, record deliveries and organise dry storage, refrigerators and freezers.
• Apply FIFO and FEFO, assist with purchasing orders, issue ingredients to the kitchen and conduct stock counts.
• Control losses, expired goods and waste, keep storage areas clean and labelled, and propose improvements to storage, labelling, traceability and ordering.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in food safety, receiving, quality control or storekeeping in a commercial kitchen, hotel, catering company or food production facility.
• Experience with HACCP documentation, temperature logs, traceability records, supplier deliveries and inventory audits.
• Ability to lift up to 15-20 kg and work comfortably in cold storage.
• Meticulous attention to labels, expiry dates and temperature readouts, and good working knowledge of English.
