Financial Controller – Accounting & Finance (Limassol)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Financial Controller to lead accounting and finance functions for our client’s industrial equipment business in Limassol. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, drive budgeting and forecasting, and support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day accounting operations, including transaction recording, reconciliations and journal entries.
• Manage monthly and quarterly closing processes and prepare timely financial reports.
• Produce financial analyses, management reports and KPI dashboards covering profit margins, project costing and segmented revenues.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow planning and overall financial control activities.
• Monitor annual budgets and rolling forecasts to align with strategic objectives.
• Ensure compliance with tax, statutory and regulatory requirements while maintaining strong internal controls.
• Oversee cash‑flow management, treasury operations and banking relationships.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Partner with senior management to provide insights and recommendations for business planning and investment decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA or ACA.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in accounting, finance or financial control, preferably as a Financial Controller.
• Proven ability to prepare and present financial analyses to senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• High level of accuracy, professionalism and confidentiality.

Required skills

• IFRS knowledge.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (Oracle, Easysoft or similar).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
