Regulatory Reporting Specialist (Transactions & Trade)

About the role

Freedom24 is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Specialist to manage daily trade and transaction reporting under MiFID II, EMIR and SFTR frameworks. The role involves ensuring data accuracy, liaising with regulators and providing analytical support to internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily trade and transaction reporting under MiFID II, EMIR and SFTR.
• Maintain and continuously improve reporting processes to ensure timely submission.
• Investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Liaise with local regulators and trade repositories as required.
• Reconcile open positions and resolve disputes with counterparties.
• Prepare ad‑hoc reports for external requests, auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Conduct impact assessments of new or changing regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in regulatory or transaction reporting within a financial institution, broker or fintech.
• Proven experience with MiFID II, EMIR and SFTR reporting frameworks.
• Strong understanding of derivatives and securities financing products.
• Fluent in English and Russian.

Required skills

• Experience with reporting platforms such as UnaVista and REGIS TR.
• Advanced Excel and data handling abilities.
• SQL proficiency for data extraction and analysis.
