AP/AR Accountant – Cyprus

About the role

We are seeking an AP/AR Accountant to support day‑to‑day accounting operations for our Cyprus entity. The role involves processing primary documents, handling payments and supporting monthly payroll for Cyprus‑based employees.

Key responsibilities

• Process and record supplier invoices, contracts, receipts and expense reports.
• Upload bank statements, allocate transactions and perform regular reconciliations with banks, suppliers and customers.
• Prepare supplier payments, monitor accounts payable/receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Handle employee advances, reimbursements, travel expenses and maintain an organized archive of financial documentation.
• Coordinate monthly payroll, calculate salaries, bonuses and deductions (PAYE, Social Insurance, GHS/GESY) and support onboarding/offboarding from a payroll perspective.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping or AP/AR.
• Experience processing primary documents, bank statements and performing reconciliations.
• Understanding of Cyprus payroll procedures and related contributions.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills.
• English level B2+ and currently residing in Cyprus.

Required skills

• Confident Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting software.
