Chief Accountant & Financial Manager (Hybrid, Limassol)

About the role

The combined role of Chief Accountant and Financial Manager for a Cyprus public limited, non‑licensed issuing company merges high‑level financial control with strategic management. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee accounting operations, ensure IFRS compliance and manage corporate cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual IFRS‑compliant financial statements.
• Lead budgeting, variance analysis, multi‑year forecasting and monitor corporate liquidity and working capital.
• Ensure compliance with Cyprus tax regulations, corporate transparency laws and act as primary contact for statutory audits.
• Design and maintain internal control systems, manage treasury policy, cash‑flow forecasting, FX and money‑market transactions.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA).
• Minimum 5 years progressive accounting and financial experience, preferably in an investment or issuing company.
• Fluency in English and Russian; Greek is a plus.

Required skills

• Deep practical expertise in IFRS.
• Strong knowledge of Cyprus corporate tax law and VAT reporting.
• Experience with electronic financial reporting systems and treasury‑management tools.
