Testing Analyst (Junior, Mid-Level, Senior or Lead)

About the role

FIS is looking for a Testing Analyst to join its QA Coordination Services team, which manages QA delivery across client projects. The analyst coordinates with technical and business resources to fix defects, negotiate dates and resources, report progress and improve quality procedures. The role suits candidates at Junior, Mid-Level, Senior or Lead level, with scope, autonomy and leadership varying by level.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end testing for client implementations
• Build the test strategy and test plan for each client project
• Assign daily tasks to testers and monitor productivity and budget consumption
• Perform root cause analysis for escaped UAT and production incidents and take action where needed
• Drive efficiency and cost savings through innovation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject such as Computer Science, MIS, Business or Finance
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of test methodologies
• Good time management, effective problem solving and a structured approach to delivery
• Self-starter who can work independently and collaborates well with an integrated software development team

Required skills

• Added bonus: experience in defect/incident management
• Added bonus: ISEB / ISTQB certification or equivalent
• Added bonus: exposure to testing tools such as HP Quality Center / QTP and automation with QTP or Selenium
