Senior Business Analyst - Card Migration Programmes

About the role

FIS is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join its PRIME Business Solution Architect team, which manages the requirements elicitation and management process for major client implementations. The role delivers card migration programmes as a business subject matter expert, owning requirements and solution design within your area of responsibility and acting as a bridge between business and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and own requirements elicitation sessions in moderately complex client engagements
• Act as a business SME, advising clients on system features and functionality
• Manage scope and client expectations and own delivery and outcomes
• Conduct gap analyses, recommend improvements and propose standard-configuration or non-development solutions
• Maintain regular client engagement on open items and decisions
• Present requirement documents for review with product and technology teams
• Create and maintain parameterisation workbooks and document agreed requirements as BRDs
• Communicate delivery risks, cross-functional dependencies and impacts, and take part in solution walkthroughs

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in business requirements analysis, gathering, documentation and validation for software projects
• Client advisory/consultancy experience in an IT environment
• Degree in Computer Science, MIS or a business-related field
• Excellent spoken and written English, clear communication with business and IT partners, and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to travel to client premises
• Added bonus: card payments experience, knowledge of data structures, previous card management systems experience, large-scale project experience, end-user experience, business analysis qualification (e.g. IIBA or BCS), and familiarity with common AI tools
