Tech Release Coordinator

About the role

IC Markets, a global trading company with over 15 years of experience, is looking for a Tech Release Coordinator in Limassol. The role coordinates cross-team releases across multiple product squads and owns the day-to-day execution of the release process, including managing pull requests and code merges in GitHub, so that delivery is predictable and high quality. It works closely with Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps and leadership in a scaled Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the PR and merge workflow in GitHub across repositories and squads, reviewing PRs, checking approvals and status checks, and merging into release branches
• Enforce branching strategy and version control standards, including release branches, cherry-picks, hotfix merges and tagging
• Resolve merge conflicts, failed checks and out-of-scope or late changes with developers
• Coordinate end-to-end production releases and validate CI/CD pipeline outputs against the approved release scope
• Run release readiness checks (regression results, environment validation, rollback preparedness) and oversee deployment according to runbooks and schedules
• Coordinate cross-system dependencies such as APIs, trading engines and market data feeds
• Monitor releases in real time, support incident triage and rollback decisions, and track release status, risks and post-release issues
• Ensure compliance with security, audit and regulatory requirements in the forex/financial environment and contribute to improving release processes

Required profile

• 3+ years in Release Coordination, or Development and Delivery roles
• Experience supporting multiple Agile teams simultaneously
• Proven experience following and enforcing structured release processes
• Fintech, online trading or fast-paced product environments preferred
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and organizational skills

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with PRs, merges and release branches in GitHub (branch protection, code review workflows, tagging/versioning)
• Git branching strategies (e.g. GitFlow, trunk-based) and conflict resolution
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling
