Tech Lead .NET Developer

About the role

IC, a global trading company with over 15 years of experience in financial technology, is looking for a Tech Lead .NET Developer to lead a development squad and set the technical direction of its engineering team. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with architectural ownership: designing scalable, event-driven, distributed systems in .NET, mentoring developers and acting as a bridge between engineering, product and management. It is a full-time, on-site position in Limassol.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a development squad, mentor team members, run 1:1s and take part in hiring and onboarding
• Define and implement scalable architectures using Clean Architecture, Vertical Slice Architecture and DDD, and build microservices and distributed backends with .NET / .NET Core
• Design event-driven systems with messaging, queues and pub/sub, applying CQRS, Event Sourcing, Saga and other distributed patterns
• Write high-quality, testable C# code, conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards
• Set up a testing strategy with unit, integration, functional and E2E tests, work with QA on acceptance criteria and promote shift-left testing
• Own technical delivery in sprints, break down requirements, estimate and plan, and take part in Agile ceremonies
• Optimize performance, implement logging, monitoring and tracing, and take part in incident investigations
• Drive technical improvements, evaluate new technologies and maintain engineering standards and documentation

Required profile

• Experience leading a development squad and mentoring developers
• Ability to balance hands-on coding and architecture with team leadership and stakeholder collaboration
