Senior Rust Backend Engineer (Trading Platform)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and build high‑performance Rust services that power our crypto trading, payments and market data platforms. You will work on mission‑critical backend systems that require extreme reliability, low latency and strong security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain robust Rust services and libraries for trading and payment flows.
• Write reusable, testable, and highly efficient code that scales across teams.
• Collaborate on large‑scale distributed system architecture, translating product requirements into resilient, low‑latency solutions.
• Debug issues across the full stack (OS, network, application) and ensure security‑first design.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership of components and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in financial or crypto trading products.
• Strong expertise in writing network services or asynchronous code in Rust.
• Security‑first mindset and ability to autonomously troubleshoot complex stack issues.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, RPC protocols, Kafka and event‑driven architectures.
• Effective collaboration with product teams and experience mentoring engineers.
