Senior Software Engineer – Agent Systems

About the role

The Agent Systems team builds AI‑powered internal agents that automate workflows and decision paths across the company. You will help design, prototype, and ship production‑grade systems that reason over user interactions and integrate with multiple internal APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement inference pipelines and backend services for agent execution.
• Prototype agent behaviours quickly, then productionize valuable solutions.
• Define safe, observable, and controllable execution patterns.
• Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and operations to identify high‑leverage automation opportunities.
• Improve system speed, reliability, and signal quality as usage scales.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production software systems.
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals (APIs, distributed systems, data modeling, reliability).
• Hands‑on experience with AI/ML systems, LLMs, or inference pipelines in production.
• Ability to prototype rapidly while maintaining a clear path to production‑grade architecture.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, 0→1 environments with high ownership.
