Senior - Financial Services Risk Management

About the role

EY is hiring a Senior consultant for its Financial Services Risk Management practice in Nicosia. You will support the delivery of integrated risk management and regulatory consulting services to clients in banking, capital markets, insurance and asset management, helping design and implement risk frameworks that improve business performance and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in giving clients and internal teams guidance on regulatory requirements and risks
• Support client engagements on enterprise risk, credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk and compliance risk management
• Help conduct regulatory impact assessments for new regulations
• Support the preparation and submission of regulatory documentation and filings
• Work with other EY service lines to deliver integrated client solutions
• Stay up to date with regulatory developments and trends across multiple jurisdictions

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Risk Management or another quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Financial Engineering, Engineering or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in a quantitative or finance area is an advantage
• Experience in regulatory affairs or compliance within consulting, regulatory agencies or relevant industries is valued; a minimum of 2 years is an asset
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks for credit and financial institutions is an advantage; willingness to learn is essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively
