Manager - Transaction Advisory

About the role

EY Parthenon, the transaction advisory team of EY Cyprus, is recruiting an experienced consultant at Manager level in Nicosia. The team advises clients on buying, selling, separating, integrating, reshaping or restructuring their businesses, covering M&A, diligence, valuations, restructuring, strategy and banking and real estate transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and present a client's existing or proposed business, identify strengths and weaknesses and document key findings
• Turn insights into business drivers into actionable conclusions and strategic advice
• Oversee the documentation of findings and verify and assess information
• Plan, prepare and review written reports, presentations and client discussions
• Lead proposal preparation for prospective clients and organise client meetings
• Cultivate internal and external networks
• Manage and lead a diverse team, set expectations, give feedback and run performance reviews
• Build relationships with the SaT team and other EY services, mentor and coach colleagues and take ownership of own development

Required profile

• Strong academic record, preferably in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics
• Leadership experience managing teams and a proven track record of delivering projects
• Experience handling client meetings and communication
• Advanced business writing and verbal communication in Greek and English
• Ideally: experience in a similar transaction advisory environment, and a qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CFA or an MBA in progress

• Ability to work under strict deadlines while maintaining quality
