Senior Consultant - Strategy and Transactions

About the role

EY Parthenon, the EY Cyprus team, is recruiting Senior Consultants to join a high-performing, integrated team focused on transactions. The team advises clients on buying, selling, separating, integrating, reshaping or restructuring their businesses, from inception to completion, and covers advisory such as M&A, valuations, restructuring, banking and real estate transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and present a client's existing or proposed business, identifying strengths and weaknesses and documenting findings
• Identify key business drivers in a transaction and give clients insights, factual conclusions and advice
• Gather, verify and assess information, then plan, prepare and review written reports, presentations and client discussions
• Assist with proposals for prospective clients and build internal and external networks
• Build strong relationships within the SaT team and other EY services, take responsibility for your own learning and support colleagues

Required profile

• Qualified, or in an advanced process of becoming qualified, as ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent; an MBA is an advantage
• Strong academic record, preferably in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics
• Advanced business writing and verbal communication in Greek and English
• Ability to work under strict deadlines and strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ideally: experience in a similar transaction advisory environment and data analytics skills
