Junior/Senior Financial Due Diligence Consultant

About the role

EY Parthenon, part of EY Cyprus, is recruiting a Junior/Senior Financial Due Diligence Consultant for its Transaction Diligence Team. The team advises clients on transactions, helping them identify the key financial drivers of revenue and profitability, value adjustments, improved deal structures and risk mitigation so that deals move smoothly with minimal disruption.

Key responsibilities

• Help clients achieve their strategic goals, whether acquiring or divesting assets.
• Advise clients during due diligence to identify key value drivers and challenge assumptions about future performance.
• Prepare analyses of historical and pro forma financial information to assess trends affecting cash flow and deal valuation.
• Assist in preparing reports and schedules delivered to clients and other parties.
• Work with other EY service teams to deliver an integrated service, including cross-border assignments with other EY offices.
• Build productive working relationships with client personnel.

Required profile

• Commercial awareness and experience in conducting financial due diligence.
• Understanding of EBITDA, working capital and net debt, and ability to apply due diligence findings to them.
• Ability to evaluate a company's financial and operational performance and identify transaction risks, issues and red flags.
• ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification, or relevant university degree (working towards).
• Excellent oral and written communication, time management under pressure, teamwork and relationship-building.

Required skills

• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel.
• Financial due diligence and financial modelling.
