Senior Advisor/Manager – International Tax & Transaction Services

About the role

As a member of EY’s International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) team, you will advise large multinational corporations on cross‑border M&A and international tax matters. You will gain hands‑on experience with both local Cyprus tax law and global corporate income tax concepts while working alongside high‑performing professionals across EY’s worldwide network.

Key responsibilities

• Manage delivery of technically complex tax advisory projects such as mergers and acquisitions, group restructurings, debt restructurings and IP optimisation.
• Develop innovative tax solutions aligned with client strategies and operations.
• Assist with tax due‑diligence, transactional tax work and preparation of tax ruling requests.
• Liaise and coordinate with colleagues locally and across the EY network.
• Build and maintain client relationships to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Supervise, coach and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Degree in Law, Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant tax experience in a reputable firm.
• Master’s degree in Tax or an International Tax qualification is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of international tax concepts and Cyprus tax laws.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Proven experience managing or coaching junior staff.
• Analytical, conceptual thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
