Junior Accountant – VAT & EU Transactions

About the role

Dedalos Corporate seeks a motivated Junior Accountant to join its collaborative team. This role offers early‑career professionals the chance to deepen specialist knowledge in VAT, EU cross‑border transactions, and IAS/IFRS accounting while contributing to day‑to‑day financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• VAT and OSS compliance – prepare VAT returns, VIES declarations, and OSS reports for cross‑border B2C transactions, reconcile VAT accounts and maintain supporting records.
• Accounting and financial reporting – record and reconcile financial transactions, support month‑end and year‑end closing, and assist in preparing statutory financial statements in line with IAS/IFRS.
• Billing and payment support – match incoming payments, process outgoing payments, and ensure accurate bank reconciliations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience with basic VAT and accounting principles.
• Experience with an ERP or accounting system such as QuickBooks or Zoho Books.
• Good Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
