Senior Operations Analyst

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Analyst to join our Cyprus office, overseeing the full lifecycle of payment transactions and ensuring fraud protection.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor end‑to‑end payment processing, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and service‑level compliance.
• Investigate and resolve payment exceptions, failed transactions, chargebacks and operational incidents.
• Perform transaction monitoring to detect suspicious activity and escalate fraud cases.
• Support fraud prevention initiatives through alert review, trend analysis and control implementation.
• Maintain client relationships, handling service requests and issue resolution.
• Analyse operational data and fraud trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop reports, dashboards and management packs for performance and fraud oversight.
• Collaborate with Technology, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Fraud Operations and Customer Service teams.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of back‑office/payments experience, preferably in FinTech or financial services.
• Ability to work rotational shift patterns, including remote night shifts.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and prioritisation skills.
• Fluent business English.
