Quantity Surveyor / Civil Engineer – On‑site (Nicosia)

About the role

The client, a leading luxury residential developer in Cyprus, is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Civil Engineer to join the on‑site team in Nicosia. The role combines cost planning, procurement and financial monitoring to ensure high‑spec projects are delivered on budget and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities and detailed cost estimates for construction works.
• Manage tendering, quotation processes and evaluate subcontractor bids.
• Monitor project budgets, track actual costs against forecasts and flag variances.
• Coordinate procurement, ordering of materials and payment applications with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Review technical drawings, specifications and contract documents for quantity and cost implications.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress, quality and compliance with cost targets.
• Support project managers with cost reporting, schedule monitoring and commercial information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Registration or eligibility for registration with ETEK.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost management or civil engineering within construction.
• Strong analytical, numerical and commercial abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to visit construction sites.
