Civil Engineer (Junior Project Manager)

About the role

An excellent opportunity for a talented Civil Engineer with specific project‑management experience to lead new developments, renovations and repairs for a well‑established local group of companies.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and develop project briefs in cooperation with the Technical Manager and Board of Directors.
• Appoint and coordinate design and management teams, overseeing planning and design stages.
• Organise value‑engineering workshops to optimise design options.
• Prepare and negotiate planning/building applications with local authorities.
• Monitor tendering procedures, evaluate construction tenders and negotiate prices.
• Control cost, quality and schedule during construction, ensuring compliance with the approved programme and budget.
• Negotiate final accounts and evaluate construction claims in cooperation with consultants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s or Project Management qualification is a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering projects with project‑management duties.
• Ability to work independently and within a team, managing priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in Greek and English.
