Civil Engineer / Project Manager (Real Estate Projects)

About the role

This position offers a senior civil engineer the chance to lead the full lifecycle of new developments, renovations and repairs for a well‑established local real‑estate group. You will work closely with the Technical Manager and the Board of Directors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and develop project briefs in cooperation with the Technical Manager and Board of Directors.
• Appoint and coordinate management and design teams, overseeing planning and design stages.
• Organise value‑engineering workshops to optimise design options against set criteria.
• Prepare and negotiate planning and building applications with local authorities.
• Manage tendering procedures, evaluate construction bids and negotiate best prices.
• Monitor construction progress, control cost and quality, and ensure compliance with the approved programme and budget.
• Handle project hand‑over, negotiate final accounts and evaluate construction claims in cooperation with consultants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; a Master’s or Project Management qualification is a plus.
• At least 8 years of civil engineering experience, including 3‑5 years as a Project Manager on building and civil projects.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in both Greek and English.
