Machine Learning Analyst - Data Science

About the role

The Machine Learning Analyst will join BidSwitch’s Data Science team, which powers a large‑scale programmatic trading platform. You will focus on analysing the performance of production ML models, uncovering hidden inefficiencies in traffic and infrastructure, and delivering concrete fixes that improve profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and quantify inefficiencies in bid‑stream traffic, hardware costs, and system latency, aiming to recover $100k+ per year.
• Own the full A/B‑testing cycle: design experiments, control roll‑out, analyse results, and implement changes with measurable impact.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to investigate model performance, drill down into partner‑level metrics, and translate findings into research cases.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, monitoring tools, and automated reports to surface real‑time insights.
• Provide analytical support to Product, R&D, TAM, and Client Services, turning ad‑hoc questions into data‑driven answers.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to hunt for cost‑saving opportunities.
• Experience designing and executing A/B tests in a production environment.
• Comfort working cross‑functionally with engineers, product managers, and client‑facing teams.
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
