Machine Learning Analyst - Data Science

About the role

The BidSwitch Data Science team is looking for a Machine Learning Analyst to own the analytical side of our large‑scale programmatic trading platform. You will monitor model performance in production, uncover hidden inefficiencies, and drive concrete improvements that boost profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage hardware unit‑costs, produce financial forecasts and ensure each processed request is profitable.
• Identify and remediate inefficiencies in traffic streams, bid‑request handling, supply‑path routing, duplication, and latency.
• Design, run and analyse A/B tests, taking findings from detection through to implementation and impact measurement.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to investigate model performance, translate data‑side insights into research cases, and automate recurring analyses.
• Produce dashboards, monitoring tools and automated reports that surface performance trends for internal stakeholders.
• Communicate results clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences, supporting product, R&D, TAM and client‑service teams.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for uncovering cost‑saving opportunities.
• Experience turning data‑driven insights into actionable product changes.
• Ability to work closely with ML researchers and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to diverse audiences.
