LiveOps Manager

About the role

ChillBase, an independent studio developing the social roleplay game OneState, is looking for a LiveOps Manager to join its LiveOps team. The studio builds a living, long-term economy without constant wipes, so the role applies modern approaches to game balance and monetization.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue and engagement KPIs through in-game events, offers, promotions and LiveOps initiatives
• Plan, maintain and run the LiveOps calendar, including regional activities
• Work closely with Game Design, Product, Analytics, Publishing, Development, Art and Localization teams
• Analyse player behaviour, event performance, offer results and monetization funnels to find growth opportunities
• Develop and test monetization hypotheses and evaluate results after launches
• Take part in planning and running major events, updates and releases, and support publishing and regional initiatives
• Help build the long-term LiveOps, monetization and player engagement systems for OneState
• Handle incidents such as errors, bugs and compensations according to existing processes

Required profile

• Understanding of Free-to-Play game principles
• Deep knowledge of monetization systems (offers, promotions, in-game shops, live events) and the metrics they affect
• Experience with mathematics and statistics, including balancing events and offers quantitatively
• Knowledge of product metrics such as ARPU, ARPPU, MAU/DAU and conversion rates
• Interest in game development and gaming experience, preferably F2P or MMO games
• Russian at C1 level

Required skills

• Confident use of Excel / Google Sheets
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail with configurations
• Ability to work within processes, templates and deadlines, and to manage several tasks at once
