Java Spring Boot Developer – Hybrid

About the role

EY is looking for a Java Spring Boot Developer to join its Transformation Realized™ consulting practice. You will work on cloud‑native microservices for clients across Cyprus and internationally, contributing to high‑impact transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud‑native Java‑based microservices.
• Participate in technical solution design and architecture, ensuring security, high‑availability, scalability, resiliency and recoverability.
• Write and execute unit tests and conduct peer code reviews.
• Support software deployments, releases and perform root‑cause analysis of defects.
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate within an agile team.
• Use observability tools to monitor performance and optimise reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, IT/Systems or a related field.
• 3 to 6 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Experience with service‑oriented environments and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC).
• Proven experience building cloud‑native microservices.
• Familiarity with source code management and continuous integration/delivery practices.
