About the role
Playtech Sports is seeking a resilient DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain automated deployment pipelines and manage Kubernetes clusters. You will ensure reliable software releases, optimise network performance and act as a technical escalation point for infrastructure issues.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain Git‑based CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
- Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters with Rancher.
- Configure Cloudflare services including WAF, DNS and caching.
- Monitor system health and application performance with Grafana and Prometheus.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and produce post‑mortem reports.
Required profile
- BSc in Computer Science, IT or related field.
- 3+ years of hands‑on DevOps, SRE or cloud infrastructure experience.
- Intermediate English communication skills.
- Ability to stay calm and focused during incidents.
Required skills
- Git and GitLab CI/CD pipeline configuration.
- Kubernetes orchestration and Rancher management.
- Cloudflare configuration (WAF, DNS, caching).
- Grafana and Prometheus monitoring.
- Linux administration and scripting (Python, Node.js, Bash).
