Java Software Engineer

About the role

We are a leading trading platform expanding globally and seeking a Java Software Engineer to join our Backend Team. You will work on high‑performance, low‑latency services that power seamless trading experiences for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, low‑latency backend services.
• Develop distributed, asynchronous systems with fault tolerance.
• Optimize performance across the JVM, databases, caching, and networking layers.
• Apply security best practices for handling client PII and financial transactions.
• Implement event‑driven architectures using modern messaging solutions such as Kafka.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align architecture with business needs.
• Maintain high code quality through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development, testing, and delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in FinTech, Banking, or related financial domains.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and client‑server models.
• Ability to design and maintain scalable, high‑performance systems.
• Solid knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, and asynchronous programming.
• Awareness of security best practices for PII and financial data.
• Experience in a fast‑paced, product‑led environment.
