HR Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Specialist to join our HR team in Cyprus. In this role you will manage and continuously improve day‑to‑day HR operations, provide timely support to employees, and help build scalable processes for our growing international team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day HR operations and support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation, internal changes, documentation and offboarding.
• Ensure HR processes and documentation comply with Cyprus labour law, applicable regulations and internal policies.
• Develop, update and maintain HR policies, procedures, guidelines, checklists, templates and other internal documentation.
• Identify process gaps, operational risks and opportunities to standardise, optimise and automate HR workflows, systems, tools and integrations.
• Maintain accurate employee data across HR systems, trackers and internal tools, promptly resolving discrepancies.
• Prepare HR reports, track operational metrics and provide data for internal decision‑making.
• Support the implementation of scalable HR solutions and continuously improve operational efficiency and employee experience.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Recruitment, Administration and other internal teams on HR‑related matters and cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in HR Operations, People Operations or HR Administration, with a strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes and Cypriot employment law.
• Experience with HRIS platforms (HiBob is a strong advantage), Excel or Google Sheets, and confidence handling HR data, reports and spreadsheets.
• Experience implementing automations and optimising repetitive workflows.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong ownership and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Good communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information.
• Upper‑Intermediate English (B2+) or higher.
