Hardware Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to join Mayflower’s infrastructure team. You will manage server hardware throughout its lifecycle, ensuring reliability for a high‑load, real‑time entertainment platform used by millions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Perform firmware updates and lifecycle management for bare‑metal servers.
• Troubleshoot hardware, component and connectivity issues.
• Support provisioning and decommissioning of servers.
• Work with out‑of‑band management interfaces such as IPMI, iDRAC or iLO.
• Apply and maintain hardware configuration standards and profiles.
• Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis and on‑call rotations.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, technical documentation and operational processes.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network and DevOps teams on hardware selection and scaling.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with server hardware in production environments.
• Understanding of data‑center infrastructure fundamentals and networking (L2/L3).
• Experience with hardware lifecycle management and out‑of‑band tools.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and willingness to be on‑call.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation.
