Full Stack Software Engineer - Authoring Tools (Remote)

About the role

LearnWorlds is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Authoring Tools team. The role focuses on building and improving the tools educators use to create engaging learning content, with a strong emphasis on frontend development using Vue.js while also contributing to PHP backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and ship full‑stack features for authoring tools, from backend logic to polished frontend experiences.
• Own frontend architecture in Vue.js, applying design patterns and evolving consistent engineering practices.
• Write clean, scalable PHP services with a focus on performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to shape solutions, not just implement handed‑off designs.
• Participate in code reviews, give and receive constructive feedback, and use AI‑assisted coding tools to accelerate development.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in complex SaaS environments.
• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript and Vue.js, with solid knowledge of frontend architecture.
• Proficiency in PHP and ability to work across backend services when needed.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, HTTP fundamentals, and both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Native or near‑native Greek speaker with good command of English.
