Financial Analyst – KEAN Project

About the role

bbf, a leading property company in Cyprus and Greece, is expanding its internal team and is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst for the KEAN project, its flagship large-scale seafront development in Limassol. The role reports to the Finance Director and is based in Nicosia, with visits to Limassol.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts accurately and on time.
• Prepare monthly project reports covering performance, cash spending and cash planning.
• Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts, and analyse actuals versus budget/forecast variances with commentary for management.
• Maintain and update financial reporting templates and ensure accounting records are up to date.
• Assist in maintaining key financial controls and flagging exceptions for senior review.
• Help prepare and update project financial models.
• Liaise with external auditors and support them through the audit process.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar role or audit experience with a Big Four firm.
• Industry experience is advantageous.
• ACCA or ACA membership.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting under Cypriot legislation.
• Excellent command of Greek and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software; SAP Business One is preferable.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
