DevOps Engineer (Junior, Mid-Level or Senior)

About the role

FIS is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its Prime Processing DevOps team, which delivers the PRIME application across FIS-managed cloud environments and licensed client environments. The team uses CI/CD to manage application deployment, with technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Argo CD, Jenkins pipelines and Python. Applications are welcome from candidates at Junior, Mid-Level and Senior levels.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD automation for the PRIME release process.
• Support PRIME deployments to FIS-managed AWS environments and licensed client environments.
• Support client-side architecture, application builds and deployment activities.
• Work with Kubernetes, Docker, Argo CD and Jenkins pipelines to support application delivery.
• Develop automation scripts and deployment processes using Python and shell scripting.
• Collaborate with engineering, release and client-facing teams to deliver reliable PRIME solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 0-4+ years of experience in a DevOps or application development role.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing, preferably AWS.
• Added bonus: OpenShift experience, AWS certification or equivalent cloud certification, and Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD).

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Argo CD, Docker, Jenkins/Groovy pipelines and Python.
• Git, preferably Bitbucket or GitHub.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs.
• Shell scripting with Bash and/or PowerShell.
