Data Engineer

About the role

Mayflower is a technology company building large‑scale entertainment products for a global audience. As a Data Engineer you will design, develop and maintain high‑performance data pipelines that feed analytics and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines using Python, SQL, Airflow, dbt, Kubernetes and Spark.
• Support the data platform by integrating new data sources, ensuring data quality and documenting solutions.
• Build redundant data transformation pipelines across multiple domains and maintain a centralized Operational Data Store.
• Provide technical support to analytics teams and troubleshoot data‑related issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong Python programming skills (outside of Airflow).
• Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with Docker.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Airflow and Spark (dbt a plus).
• Understanding of web applications and column‑store databases such as ClickHouse (plus).
