Banking Operations Manager

About the role

FxPro is seeking a Banking Operations Manager to lead end‑to‑end banking operations, including payment processing, vendor management, and correspondent banking relationships. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on execution in a fast‑paced digital banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee payment lifecycles from initiation through settlement and reconciliation, identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure all payment processes comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards, keeping documentation audit‑ready.
• Manage vendor agreements, negotiate contracts and SLAs, monitor performance, and resolve service issues.
• Lead integration projects with new payment providers and banking partners, coordinating technical, compliance, and operations teams.
• Maintain and strengthen correspondent banking relationships, handling operational queries, escalations, account maintenance, and liquidity management.
• Supervise and improve payment authorisation procedures, analysing performance data to drive optimisation.
• Develop and lead a team of banking operations professionals, set objectives, monitor KPIs, and report to senior management.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in banking operations, payments, or financial services, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of payment lifecycles, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts and SLAs.
• Familiarity with correspondent banking operations and account maintenance.
• Knowledge of payment authorisation processes and performance optimisation.
• Proven ability to work with compliance, risk, and technology teams in a regulated environment.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team‑leadership skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
