Backend Developer (Node.js, Docker, APIs)

About the role

Supono Holdings LTD is seeking a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain fast, reliable, and scalable backend systems. You will work independently, own the full lifecycle of features, and move quickly from concept to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.
• Develop and maintain Docker‑based environments for deployment.
• Work with MongoDB and MySQL databases, including schema design and optimization.
• Integrate third‑party services and AI tools via API calls.
• Create dummy or mock APIs to unblock frontend development when needed.
• Start backend architecture before final UI designs are available.
• Deliver complete features within 2–7 day sprint cycles.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to self‑manage.
• Comfortable working with incomplete specifications and translating ambiguity into execution.
• Experience building scalable backend architectures in fast‑paced product teams.
