System Analyst – FinTech Backend Services

About the role

FxPro is seeking a System Analyst to join its fintech team in Cyprus. The role focuses on designing and documenting system behavior for the company’s core micro‑service based platform, translating business needs into clear, development‑ready specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and convert them into functional and non‑functional system specifications.
• Design business logic for new and existing micro‑services and model integrations using Sequence and C4 diagrams.
• Produce development artifacts such as use cases, user stories, process diagrams and tickets.
• Define and document integration contracts for REST APIs, gRPC services and message‑broker flows.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA engineers and other stakeholders.
• Investigate system behaviour through log analysis tools like Graylog and Kibana.
• Reverse‑engineer legacy functionality and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Analyst.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to describe complex system and business logic.
• Proven experience working with development teams and preparing implementation tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
