Senior Auditor - Assurance Services

About the role

EY is hiring a Senior Auditor for its Assurance Services practice in Limassol. You will contribute technically to audit client engagements and internal projects, execute complex assurance procedures, supervise junior engagement team members and help define the audit strategy. You will work under the supervision of an assurance manager and senior manager and present findings to the client.

Key responsibilities

• Lead fieldwork, manage performance and keep engagement leaders updated on audit engagements
• Complete audit processes and document higher-risk areas to build technical and business skills
• Engage clients and give authoritative advice throughout transactions
• Keep up with market trends and share knowledge to develop junior colleagues
• Understand clients' needs and refer them to colleagues in other teams to broaden business relationships

Required profile

• 3 to 6 years of work experience as an Auditor in an accounting firm
• ACA, ACCA or CA certification
• Excellent spoken and written Greek and English
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative approach to management
• Proven project management skills
• Desire to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Working knowledge of IFRS
• Auditing and assurance procedures
