Room Attendant

About the role

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and associated public areas in a luxury hotel environment. This role ensures that every guest experiences a comfortable and welcoming stay through meticulous cleaning, turndown service, and prompt attention to guest requests.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning and turndown service for guest rooms according to established SOPs.
• Set up special amenities and decorations for guest rooms upon request.
• Replenish minibars and ensure all guestroom supplies are stocked.
• Create and follow up on maintenance requests without disturbing guests.
• Handle guest complaints politely, timely, and in line with hotel policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of corridors, stairwells, service lift lobbies, and staff pantry.
• Report any unusual incidents, hazards, or damaged items promptly.
• Participate in health and safety activities and report accidents or unsafe conditions.
• Handle housekeeping equipment responsibly and document any found items.

Required profile

• High school graduate with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role at a luxury hotel.
• Strong teamwork orientation and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 12 kg and perform physical tasks regularly.
• Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.
• High commitment to customer satisfaction and integrity.
