React Native Developer

About the role

Join EY's Technology Transformation Consulting practice as a React Native Developer, building high‑performance cross‑platform mobile applications for clients across Cyprus and internationally. You will work in a collaborative, distributed environment to deliver innovative solutions that support EY's transformation agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain React Native mobile applications that are performant, scalable, and maintainable.
• Build reusable components and modules using modern JavaScript/TypeScript following EY and industry coding standards.
• Integrate mobile apps with backend services via RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Implement authentication and authorization flows (OAuth2, JWT, SSO, CIAM) with secure coding practices.
• Develop real‑time features using WebSockets, Server‑Sent Events, Pub/Sub, or equivalent technologies.
• Implement push notifications and in‑app messaging patterns.
• Participate in creating and maintaining mobile CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, App Center, etc.).
• Leverage AI coding agents and vibe‑coding workflows to accelerate development, testing, and refactoring.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, QA, and backend teams across distributed delivery environments.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce quality standards, and contribute to architectural discussions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on React Native for iOS and Android.
• Strong command of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of React Native internals, navigation frameworks, and state‑management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or Context API).
• Experience integrating applications with backend services using REST and/or GraphQL.
