Quality Assurance Officer (SQA Engineer)

About the role

eBOS Technologies is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer (SQA Engineer) to ensure its software products meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and support teams to deliver reliable, high‑performing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and execute test cases to validate functionality and uncover defects.
• Create comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for web applications.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance testing processes.
• Document and report defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis.
• Conduct REST API testing and validate data using SQL Server Management Studio.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and support to reproduce, investigate, and resolve issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of manual testing methodologies.
• Assist with load, scalability, and performance testing when required.
• Estimate, prioritize, and schedule testing activities, including regression cycles.
• Provide recommendations for product improvements based on testing findings.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Strong grasp of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• 2+ years of experience in software testing, preferably with web applications.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams.
