R&D Project Manager – EU‑funded Projects

About the role

The R&D Project Manager will lead EU‑funded research and development projects, ensuring they meet approved objectives, milestones and contractual obligations. You will act as the main liaison for eBOS within international consortia and coordinate technical, scientific and dissemination activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee EU‑funded R&D projects, delivering objectives on time and within scope.
• Represent eBOS at consortium meetings, workshops, conferences and training events locally and abroad.
• Develop detailed project plans, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with KPIs and contractual commitments.
• Prepare and submit high‑quality technical and non‑technical deliverables and periodic reports.
• Conduct quality assurance, risk identification, mitigation planning and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consortium partners and management to ensure coherent execution.

Required profile

• University degree in ICT, Engineering or a related science; Master’s degree preferred; PhD advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years experience managing EU‑funded R&D projects (e.g., Horizon Europe, Digital Europe Programme).
• Strong knowledge of EU project implementation requirements and ICT research topics.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; Greek knowledge is a plus.
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work in multicultural environments.
