IT Project Manager – Financial Services

About the role

The IT Project Manager will oversee the software development lifecycle, planning, executing, and delivering projects within scope, time, and budget while collaborating with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Control project scope, timelines and budget throughout the lifecycle.
• Communicate progress and manage expectations with internal and external stakeholders.
• Handle budget control, change management and risk mitigation using Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Ensure final software product meets quality standards and client requirements.
• Develop understanding of Agile foundations and processes for assigned projects.
• Apply analytical and problem‑resolution skills to remove impediments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, Finance or a related field.
• At least 2 years of end‑to‑end project management experience in the IT industry, preferably in financial services or payment systems.
• Proven experience delivering software implementation projects across the full SDLC.
• Experience working with cross‑functional and remotely located teams.
• Previous Agile experience with tools such as JIRA.

Required skills

• Agile methodologies (Scrum).

• Microsoft Office suite.
• Microsoft Project.
• Use of AI in project‑management routines.
