Payroll Supervisor

About the role

TechBiz Global is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to lead the end‑to‑end payroll function for its client portfolio in Nicosia, Cyprus. You will ensure accurate, timely payroll processing while maintaining full compliance with local legislation and delivering high‑quality service to both direct clients and partner agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the complete payroll cycle for multiple clients, guaranteeing accuracy, timeliness and legal compliance.
• Manage payroll delivery for direct clients and agents/partners, meeting agreed deadlines and quality standards.
• Process monthly payroll, statutory submissions, payments and year‑end reporting.
• Prepare management‑level payroll reports in line with MIS requirements.
• Act as the primary contact for payroll and labour‑related queries, providing advisory support.
• Liaise with Income Tax Authorities, Social Insurance, external auditors and other relevant bodies.
• Maintain organized payroll and employment documentation.
• Plan, assign and review team work, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency.
• Lead, mentor and develop payroll team members through performance management and training.
• Monitor department budget and identify process improvements.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, including supervisory or senior responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of Cyprus payroll, labour legislation, Social Insurance and Income Tax.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client payrolls and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Greek.
