Audit Manager

About the role

At Baker Tilly South East Europe you will go beyond the numbers, building trusted client relationships and delivering insights that support informed decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients.
• Identify client expectations, assess risks and recommend solutions.
• Review the audit team’s work to ensure compliance with methodology, timelines and quality standards.
• Provide training, coaching and support to junior team members.
• Submit progress reports on audit assignments to the Partner in charge.
• Oversee timely billing and collection of fees from clients.
• Maintain strong business relationships with customers, associates and governmental authorities.
• Prepare competitive audit proposals.
• Lead, inspire and motivate the financial services audit team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any field of study.
• Master’s degree in Accounting & Finance or related field (advantage).
• Holder of a professional qualification such as ACCA or ACA.
• At least 4 years of post‑qualification experience in audit.
• Experience coaching, supervising and managing staff members.
• Strong negotiation skills and results orientation.
• Ability to perform well under tight timelines and pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
